Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, takes pride in quality workmanship, and works well independently and as part of a team. Experience with vehicle diagnostics and electrical systems is considered a strong asset.
Duties
- perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles - diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues - complete brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, and engine repairs - use diagnostic scanners and tools to identify vehicle problems - perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire installations, and fluid checks - test and repair automotive electrical systems, wiring, batteries, starters, air conditioning, and alternators - communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly - follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- Level 3 or 4 apprentice or Journeyman - strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills - experience with vehicle diagnostics and electrical systems is an asset - ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, busy environment - strong attention to detail and customer service skills
