Job Location All Over Canada & US with business address 70 Malwa Cove Winnipeg MB R2R 2Z7. Yard Address: 120 IXL Crescent east Selkirk, Manitoba, R1B 1A1 Job Duties Operate and drive the long-haul tractor-trailers to transport the freight to and from the destination in long haul Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and check on cargo at every stop during the long haul Follow all the safety procedure required to transport the goods Perform pre trip, en-route, and post trip vehicle inspection including the systems, cargo, tires, brake system etc Maneuver and Navigate the vehicle in any kind of weather condition and areas Administer bills and maintain the logbooks manually or computerized Make records of the cargo, the hours of services, distance travelled and fuel consumption Communicate through the communication systems with the other drivers, dispatchers and customers Plan the trips accordingly and have all the necessary documents required for transportation Do emergency roadside repairs when necessary Drive single or as part of 2-person team as per company requirements Employment Requirements Completion of Secondary school is desirable, not mandatory Class A or 1 Driver's License and Air brake endorsement are required 1-2 years' experience is desirable . However, No experience is necessary. On the job training will be provided to hired candidates Proficiency to communicate in basic English

Qualifications
