Description
Baked Expectations is a 43 year old well established and popular bakery in Winnipeg. We are looking for 2 full time bakers who can bake from scratch and decorate cakes.
Duties
A baker with Baked Expectations must have the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions which lead to consistent baking and decorating of desserts. Ability to follow recipes, and to work independently and accurately is a must. Candidates must adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintain a clean area and work well as a team member.
We will provide on the job training for those who have not had a formal education. Successful candidates should be familiar with how to use professional mixers, ovens and be able to decorate cakes with piping bags.
This is a physical job which requires standing for long periods of time, so it is important to be in good physical health. This is a full time job which includes weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Some baking experience is required. We are a high volume bakery and experience is an asset. ability to read recipes, scale ingredients and work with mixers is essential.
