Duties
- Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mining hardware (ASICs).
- Execute the deployment, decommissioning, configuration, and setup of mining rigs.
- Monitor farm performance metrics, including hash rate, power consumption, temperature, and network connectivity to ensure stable and efficient operation.
- Respond promptly to hardware failures and system alerts, performing component-level repairs (e.g., replacing hash boards, power supplies).
- Conduct basic maintenance and monitoring of site infrastructure, including power, cooling, and networking systems.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, incident reports, and operational data.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a background in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Networking, or a related technical field is preferred.
- 1-2 years in equipment maintenance, industrial cooling systems operations.
- Previous experience in a data center, with network equipment, computer hardware repair, or a similar technical role is a strong asset.
- Strong hands-on technical and problem-solving skills with a passion for learning new technologies.
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics and technical documentation is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a shift schedule (including nights and weekends) and adapt to a sometimes noisy industrial environment.
- A reliable team player with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- A basic understanding of and keen interest in cryptocurrency and Bitcoin mining is preferred.
