As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, preparing and cooking delicious dishes to delight our customers. Duties
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook entire meals or separate dishes and ingredients.
- Organize and oversee the schedule of kitchen assistants.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
- Manage inventory and maintain detailed records of food, materials, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness in the kitchen and workspace.
- Develop menus, assess portion sizes and estimate food needs and expenses
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Experience as a line cook is an asset.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
