Experience level: Minimum 2 years experience which shows skills matching the duties and responsibilities, qualifications and shows ability to meet the expectations of the company as noted below. Education: Completion of secondary education in relation to the field. HVAC/ Red Seal certified. Contact Information: (email) hr@winklermeats.ca Duties/Responsibilities: •Troubleshooting & repair •Maintaining preventative maintenance on all equipment •Technical skills – repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing & HVAC •Safe food compliance •H&S compliance •High attention to detail and quick thinking •Meeting deadlines and following through with tasks Qualifications & Expectations: • Minimum 2 year experience • Secondary Education – HVAC / Red Seal / Mechanic • Knowledge of all tools and usage of them • Valid Canadian driver’s license • Communication skills- must speak/write/understand English • Attention to detail with high accuracy rate • Able to adapt to Canadian working conditions and culture Working Conditions: • Repetitive motion • Standing for long periods of time • Proper lifting of heavy items • Working in col/wet environment • Slippery condition • Not afraid of heights • Tight space • Working alone • Working with live animals • Comfortable going into the plant (handle seeing and being around blood and deceased animals)
