Description
K & E Welding is seeking a reliable and skilled Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will perform welding and metal cutting tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced work environment.
Duties
- Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications before beginning work
- Use manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts using approved welding methods
- Operate flame-cutting equipment to cut and prepare metal materials
- Use brazing and soldering tools when required for specific repair or fabrication tasks
- Operate metal shaping equipment, including brakes, shears, straightening, and bending machines
- Repair worn or damaged metal parts by adding welded layers or reinforcing materials
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Must have passed Level 1 Welding
- 1 to 2 years
- Must be a resident of Canada or possess a valid work visa
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Previous welding experience is considered an asset
