In this role, you will oversee daily technical operations, ensuring every repair and restoration meets our exacting standards for precision and quality. As a Lead Technician, you will mentor and support your team, coordinate complex projects, and uphold our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and service in every piece entrusted to us.

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of watchmakers and jewelry repair technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance support • Craft and mend jewelry made of precious and semi-precious metals, including rings, brooches, pendants, bracelets, and lockets. • Oversee complex repairs and restorations, ensuring all work meets high standards of precision and craftsmanship • Inspect, cut, sculpt, and refine precious and synthetic gemstones using optical tools, cutting disks, and polishing laps. • Place precious and semi-precious stones into jewelry settings with precision, following provided specifications. • Oversee complex repairs and restorations, ensuring all work meets high standards of precision and craftsmanship. • Perform high-quality repairs and alterations on fine jewellery and watches. • Inspect and assess jewellery items for damage or defects, providing accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the safety and security of valuable materials and equipment. • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven 2 to 3 experience in watch repair, jewelry repair, or a closely related technical field. • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop or service environment. • Strong attention to detail and precision, ensuring flawless execution in every piece. • Creativity and artistic flair, with the ability to bring unique designs to life. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service. • Knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewelry materials, including their properties and care requirements. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. • Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
